The Boom Town days have vanished into history and so have the bonanza years of the mining era. But in the towns like Curlew, Orient, Republic, Danville, and other places, the sounds of those glory days and bonanza times can still be heard in the echoes of yesteryear.

Cowboys and miners on their horses and wagons no longer stir the dust in the streets as they did over a century ago. The old stamp mills, some still standing today no longer thunder their echoes in the hills as they did during those bonanza years. But this is still mining country at its best. But gone from their old haunts are the miners and prospectors.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy your historic adventure back into the days of yesterday.
