Clover, like other places, never consisted of much more then a post office. Established May 24, 1892, it served the Ruby area after that office closed. Mail was supplied by the Malott, Conconully Star Route.

The Clover post office was too near Okanogan to survive. The office was discontinued on March 30, 1901, and the mail went to Conconully.
