You might not know it's even there, but don’t miss old Addy, its been there for almost one hundred years.
It was called Addy Station once and there was a time when it was a distribution center with some importance. That was when the Spokane Falls and Northern railways made regular stops and mines in the area were shipping hundreds of tons of rich silver ore, and the main beneficiary was Addy.
But eventually the mines gave up to the ghosts, and Addy, like so many other boom towns also played out. Addy still has several old buildings of historical importance, and the surrounding area still calls back to the time of those bonanza days.
